Designed power supply: A 10 kV feeding line
connecting a transformer with a capacity of 2000 kVA, voltage ratio 10/0.4 kV.
The main load is a heat treatment system with its accessory facilities, along
with motor, lighting and other equipment.
Compensation design: During operation the
heat treatment system generates harmonics and the power factor is very low and
cannot meet the national power quality standards.
To take the actual situation into
consideration, a suggested compensation system is designed with following
specification: Detuned factor 7%, total capacity 350 kvar, switching steps 8. The
module used for the cabinet is KK 350 PHB 480 A 7. Detailed scheme seeing below:
